Pre-Theology Program |
The Pre-Theology major is designed for students who plan to attend a Christian seminary after their undergraduate degree. The Pre-Theology major consists of several components. Theological Foundations provide students with courses in Biblical studies, church history, theology, and Greek. Christian Vocations courses enable students to draw closer connections between their personal identity, their vocational interests, and their faith commitments. Pre-Theology students also take several more liberal arts courses to provide them with the broad academic background most seminaries expect.
Graduates of the University’s Pre-Theology program have proceeded to many
different seminaries from various Christian denominations: United Methodist,
Presbyterian, Lutheran, Disciples of Christ, and Eastern Orthodox to name some.
